The tug of war was the best thing ever to do! And the teachers were the best ones ever!
First, we did our writing. So Mrs. Kumar said that after playtime, we can do Tug of War. So after playtime, we went on to the field, and William and Francis carried the rope. I brought it onto the field, and Mrs. Kumar said, Let go of the rope. Miss Lammas and Mrs. Kumar can be our audience for our tug-of-war. After Ms. Lammas told us what the name of our group was, the other team’s name was Team Power. Mrs. Kumar counted from 3 to 2 to 1! We pulled as hard as we could so we could win. We won the first round. We were hugging each other. It was funny.
Next, we went to have another round but first, we went to have a rest because our hands were hurting so much. After that, we went to play again, Miss Lammas said. Let’s play it 9 on 9 so it was even on both sides. After that, we pulled so hard that we fell down onto the grass. After that, we were screaming so hard that my throat hurt. It was so funny when we fell like woosh, smashing down on the grass and I think? Miss Lammas was laughing.
Then, I showed Mrs. Kumar my hands because they were pale and red. After that, Mrs. Kumar told us that we were going to have another round so we could be stronger and Mrs. Kumar said to let go of the rope. After we got mixed up with the boy, we went to have another round. We were all excited to do another round, I think.
Finally, we went back to our class. After, I asked Mrs. Kumar if I could have a drink of water because we were so thirsty so we went to the tap to have a drink. Then we went back to class and Mrs. Kumar said we were going to write about the Tug of War.
We had so much fun on the field. The best part was that the girls won three times. We had so much fun when we were playing. It was hard on the boys and they tried their best to pull the rope but they did not win. But they did try their best to pull it so I think we should clap for them so they can be happy. Then some of the boys ran as fast as they could so they could have some water.
